Objectives

This Conceptual Framework teaches College Boards 5 Big Ideas of AP Computer Science Principles, Python, JavaScript, and Web Site application development together in an integrated fashion. The purpose is to teach College Board requirements while adding languages, tools, frameworks, and methodologies that meet Career Technical Education (CTE) needs. The outcome is preparing the High School student for the AP Test and simultaneously building the skills required for Computer Science internships.

    HTML fragments are portions of code used in a greater coding system that enable functionality specific to the current page. Fragments in HTML are a way to abstract complexity. The greater coding system we use is GitHub Pages which uses Jekyll and Liquid to build and programmatically construct fragments into the larger web site.

    A brief overview of Bash, on your way to becoming a Linux expert. When a computer boots up, a kernel (MacOS, Windows, Linux) is started. This kernel provides a shell that allows user to interact with a most basic set of commands. Typically, the casual user will not interact with the shell as a Desktop User Interface is started by the computer boot up process. To activate the shell directly, users will run a "terminal" through the Desktop, VS Code or activate "console" while on a cloud computer like AWS.
